Detail

Teens Ending Abusive Relationships (T.E.A.R.) is a 60- 90min PowerPoint presentation containing several music video's and media clips. These are used to illustrate the different dimensions of domestic violence and its effects on individuals, the family, and the community. Students are educated on the different forms of abuse, cycles of violence, power and control, warning signs, healthy relationships, and how to receive help and access available resources in their communities. Furthermore, the T.E.A.R. presentation empowers youth to make a difference in their own lives and those of others, by taking initiative in their communities, to educate the public and their peers.
