Description

Monthly Character Awards Assemblies.

For a part of the assembly we showcase ESP committees and other student groups and work that they are doing.  We have done this through skits, short videos (made and edited by students), and speaches.  At the end of the assembly, we usually hold a Jeopardy-style game.  The game is created by our mingling committee - hoping to bring together students who do not usually interact and break down cliques within the school.  Each class picks a representative, who are randomly placed in a team.  there are two teams of four students each.  They have choice of 5 categories (3 questions each) to chose from.  The team that has most correct answers wins house league points.

Character awards are given based on pre-determined traits.  Students vote one student and teachers chose another one.  Each class then has 2 students who recieve an award at the assembly.

Please note: we have an example of our videos, but did not want to post it on Youtube.  If you would like a copy, please let us know and we can email it to you.
